Watercolor Still Life Paint Party
Watercolor paint is fun and versatile, but it can be tricky for beginners to use. Splotches of color you didn't intend, watery mess everywhere, paper that warps. Want to know how to do it right? Come to this watercolor still life crash course and learn how to use your paints.
Paint a dichromatic still life to hang in your kitchen or dining area. Even if you don't think you can paint, you'll be surprised what beautiful results you can create. We will be learning wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet, lifting out, and dry brush techniques to make the most of your paints.
This is not a step-by-step, everyone paints the same painting type of class. While those can be nice, I prefer to teach technique and let you develop your own painting.
This class is appropriate for adults, although beginners are welcome.
Paint, brushes, and paper provided. I also have a rainbow selection of napkins to use as background pieces.
